Statewide anti-Photo ID effort has campaign manager: Luchelle Stevens

Luchelle Stevens, a union official, will run efforts to defeat the proposed constitutional amendment.

Luchelle Stevens has been named the campaign manager for the effort to defeat the Photo ID constitutional amendment.

She’ll head the efforts of Our Vote Our Future campaign.

Stevens has worked for the SEIU, the Service Employees International Union, first in Minnesota and most recently in Washington D.C. as director of Field Information Services.

She had been an air traffic controller in the Navy, serving in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

Our Vote Our Future says it is “a broad campaign of individuals and organizations from across the state — including rural organizations, non-profits, faith-based organizations and community groups — united against this anti-voter amendment.”
