MPR schedules debates on constitutional amendments and U.S. Senate race

Minnesota Public Radio News plans to broadcast three debates in the days before the Nov. 6 election.

The debates will cover the two proposed constitutional amendments and the U.S. Senate race; they’ll  be held at The Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul. The public is welcome and there is no admission fee. All the debates will be broadcast live on MPR.

The schedule:

  • Oct. 30, 7 p.m. – Voter ID Amendment Debate, hosted by Tom Crann. Guests TBA.
  • Nov. 1, 7 p.m. – Marriage Amendment Debate, hosted by Kerri Miller. Guests TBA.
  • Nov. 4, 7 p.m.  – Final U.S. Senate Debate with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (DFL) and State Rep. Kurt Bills (R), hosted by Cathy Wurzer.
