The funeral for George Kamp, father of Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon, is today in Proctor, Minn.
Kamp died Monday at the Franciscan Health Center in Duluth. He was 89.
Gov. Mark Dayton will be among those attending the 11 a.m. funeral at St. Rose Catholic Church.
Kamp, who served in the Navy during World War II, was an electrician and small-business owner. He retired in 1996.
