Trick-or-treat fun at Governor’s Residence on Halloween

There will be treats on Halloween evening at the Governor’s Residence, 1006 Summit Ave., in St. Paul.

The lights will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., and Gov. Mark Dayton is scheduled to personally hand out treats from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Treats include: M&M mini-packs and Cub 4 Kids cards, which allow children to receive a free piece of fruit every time they visit Cub Foods, courtesy of  Supervalu. There also will be bite-sized Salted Nut Rolls from Pearson’s Candy.

The Sustainable Farming Association will donate 300 mini-pumpkins for trick-or-treaters to decorate and take home. Linder’s Garden Center will provide entry-way decor.
