Civil War Task Force to watch and discuss ‘Lincoln’ movie at Mall of America

The group will watch the movie Friday night and then hold a post-show discussion.

The Minnesota Civil War Commemoration Task Force is inviting people to watch the new “Lincoln” movie Friday night at the Mall of America Theater and then join a post-show discussion.

The Task Force was set up in 2011 by Gov. Mark Dayton to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the war.

The event begins with a 6 p.m. reception at the Star Bar in the Mall theater. The show is at 7:15 p.m., and afterward, there will be a panel discussion back in the bar.
