Two finalists for the open position of commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be interviewed today by Gov. Mark Dayton.

The governor is looking for someone to replace Tom Sorel, who resigned last month to head AAA Minneapolis.

The finalists are:

  •  Charlie Zelle, president and chief executive officer of Jefferson Lines regional bus company. He’s a former investment banker who now runs his family’s bus company.
  • Bernie Arseneau, a veteran MnDOT engineer who is now acting commissioner.
