DFL Party officials have hired Ellen Perrault as the new communications director.
Perrault has been working as a communications specialist for the Anoka-Hennpin School District.
She replaces former DFL communications director Kate Monson, who has her own company, Kate Monson Media, which offers public relations, marketing, web development, photo and video services.
