Many citizens named to two Minnesota Education Department panels

Minnesota Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius has named members to two citizen panels established by the Legislature to help form policy.

The Career Pathways and Technical Education Task Force will recommend ways to redesign secondary and post-secondary education to better serve all students. The School Facilities Working Group will make recommendations for reforming the financing of pre-kindergarten through Grade 12 education facilities to create adequate, equitable and sustainable financing of public school facilities throughout the state.

The members of the Career Pathways and Technical Education Task Force are:
