Gov. Dayton has breakfast with champions as Lynx stop by this morning

Team members stopped at the governor’s residence in St. Paul for breakfast. Later today they will be feted at a championship celebration at Target Center.

Gov. Mark Dayton hosts the WBNA champion Minnesota Lynx Monday morning for a breakfast at the Governor’s Residence in St. Paul.

No word on what he’s serving, but Wheaties might be appropriate.

The governor also will attend the community victory celebration for the team at 12:30 p.m. at Target Center.

The Lynx have won their second WNBA title in three years, giving some relief to championship-starved Minnesota pro-sports fans.
