St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, fresh from a resounding re-election victory, heads to Minneapolis today to have lunch with Betsy Hodges, the presumptive winner of the mayor’s race once the final ranked-choice votes are counted.

The two will meet at the Mission American Kitchen and Bar in the downtown Minneapolis IDS Center.

Coleman said he wants to congratulate Hodges, the City Council member who’s projected to win the 35-person mayor’s race.

The two will discuss ways to strengthen the region by working together on transit, business and other issues.
