Tickets available for President Obama’s speech Wednesday at St. Paul’s Union Depot

Tickets will be distributed, starting at 10 a.m. Monday, for President Obama’s Wednesday speech at the Union Depot in St. Paul.

The tickets will be distributed in Suite 120 of the Depot; the tickets are free, one per person, but there is a limited number.

The president will talk about economic investment in his 2 p.m. speech, and he’s expected to  announce a new competition encouraging investments to create jobs and restore infrastructure.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for the speech. Organizers say:

For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit personal items. No signs or banners are permitted. All attendees will go through airport-like security. No backpacks will be allowed in the venue (small bags of a size no greater than 12” x 12” will be permitted but subject to search). Containers of any kind, bottles, cans, guns, knives, pocket-knives, multi-tools, mace, pepper spray, or sharp objects of any kind, other weapons and other hazardous items are prohibited.
