Gov. Dayton’s State of the State speech set for April 23

Gov. Mark Dayton will give the annual State of the State address to legislators on April 23.

That’s later than usual; the state-constitutionally-mandated report is typically given earlier in the legislative session (which started this year Feb. 25) but Dayton had hip surgery at the Mayo Clinic Feb. 10 and recovered for several weeks at home.

Since Mar. 18, though, he has been appearing at the Capitol.
