Senators place friendly wager on Gophers-UND Frozen Four game

With the University of Minnesota facing the University of North Dakota in Thursday’s semifinal game of the Frozen Four, U.S. Sens. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and John Hoeven of North Dakota have placed a wager.

If Minnesota wins, Hoeven will provide a box of chocolate-covered potato chips known as “chippers.”

If North Dakota wins, Klobuchar will make her “frozen” dessert hotdish, which finished tied for second in the Minnesota Congressional Delegation’s annual Hotdish Off.

The teams play at 7:30 p.m. (Central time) at Philly’s Wells Fargo Center. The winner goes to Saturday’s championship game.
