Rep. Michele Bachmann, after a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas, writes that she saw someone smuggled across the Rio Grande, “in broad daylight,” and that the illegal-immigration situation is worse than she’d imagined.
In a newsletter report on her trip, she says:
“I knew that the border crisis was serious, but nothing could have prepared me for just how bad this situation truly is.”
She blames the problems on the Obama administration.
She notes:
While the popular media narrative has been to focus on the children who came here alone, it is only a small fraction of the growing problem along the southern border.
My heart breaks for the unaccompanied children, but officials told us that 80 percent of the people entering the country illegally are not women and children—they are males over the age of 14.
She says she took cell phone video of an apparent human smuggling operation; her video is included in a post on Breitbart.com.
So what will she do about
the people who employ illegal migrants and immigrants (and can she tell the difference between an immigrant and a migrant worker)?
Bachmann auditions for her next job
I watched the cell phone video taken by Bachmann. Think what she can become with a real film crew following her around. Will Fox give her a gig as a beathless roving reporter?
As a member of the TP caucus in the House of Representatives she has proven her worth.
I hope she told the border patrol agents that she would be returning to Congress and vote NO for the request for more border patrol resources. Then she will be on vacation for five and weeks before she ends her Congressional career in the Theater of the Absurb.
They were just exercising their First Amendment rights.
The question is: Why does Bachmann oppose the US Constitution so much?
