Today’s regular meeting of the Hennepin County Board has been moved to Thursday morning, but it’s not because the MLB All-Star Game is in town.
The board had shifted its meeting time earlier, when it appeared that U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx would be here for a briefing on transportation issues during the normal Tuesday early afternoon board meeting time.
The Foxx trip, though, has been canceled.
However, all the paperwork and notices for the board meeting change has gone through, so they’re sticking with the new board meeting time: Thursday, July 17, 9:30 a.m. The agenda appears fairly routine.
