Reed Kelly, the son of former St. Paul Mayor Randy Kelly, will compete in the new season of “Survivor” on CBS.
Kelly, 31, is a professional dancer who’s appeared in many Broadway productions. He moved to New York during his father’s term as mayor, 2002-06.
The Star Tribune says Kelly will compete on the reality series against his boyfriend, composer Josh Canfield, as the show pits loved ones against each other.
Randy Kelly’s older son, Ryan, served as campaign mayor on the Kelly mayoral campaigns, in 2001 when he won, and in 2005 when he lost to current Mayor Chris Coleman.
