Electric cars on display Sunday at Minnesota state Capitol

Electric vehicles of all kinds will be displayed Sunday on the state Capitol Mall in St. Paul for a car show organized for National Drive Electric Week.

Organizers expect at least 80 vehicles and their owners for  the show, along with information about charging stations and renewable energy programs.

In addition to Nissan, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and other makes, Tesla models are scheduled to be there.

The show is 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday on the lower Capitol Mall.

The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Plug-in Vehicle Owners’ Circle along with the Twin Cities Clean Cities Coalition and Drive Electric Minnesota members.

    Come on out, if you can

    This is gearing up to be the largest assembly of plug-in vehicles of all makes and models ever seen in this state.

    Questions? Ask the owners. They will give the straight story, without a sales pitch.
