New Jersey Gov. Christie to campaign with Jeff Johnson in Minnesota governor’s race

Republican gubernatorial candidate Jeff Johnson will get a high-profile boost next month when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie comes to town.

Christie, who has been, off-and-on, considered among the top Republican presidential candidates in 2016, is in Hudson, Wisconsin, today campaigning with GOP Gov. Scott Walker, who’s seeking re-election.

On Oct. 13 — time and place TBA, says the Star Tribune — Christie will come to Minnesota to help Johnson in his bid to defeat DFL Gov. Mark Dayton.

The paper notes that Christie came to Minnesota in 2010 to campaign for Republican candidate for governor Tom Emmer, who lost to Dayton in a tight race.

    Watch for traffic slow downs!

Christie, as though he’s a candidate for sainthood – right alongside Scott Walker in Hudson, Wisconsin?

    Don’t they know
that people who live in Hudson – don’t vote in Minnesota?

    Overheard today in Hudson

“It’d be a shame if certain commuters had trouble on the bridge home this November wouldn’t it Mr. Walker.”
