A day-long seminar on promoting “Healthy Transportation” will be held Saturday in St. Paul, with a focus on advocating for “bike, bus or walk.”
The event, with speeches and seminars, runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters Hall, 710 Olive St., St. Paul, which is accessible by bus routes 61, 64, 71, 74. Bike racks will be available, too.
Organizers say the goal is to exchange ideas and learn along with other community leaders about outreach, organizing and planning.
There’s a suggested donation of $20. A light breakfast and lunch are included. Register online.
