North Carolina Rep. Patrick McHenry, chief deputy whip for Republicans in the House, comes to Minnesota Wednesday to raise money for Steward Mills’ congressional campaign.
Mills is challenging U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan in Minnesota’s 8th District, the northeast part of the state, but the today’s fundraiser is in downtown Minneapolis.
Mills is appearing a day after his first debate in Duluth with Nolan, where the two didn’t agree on much.
The Mills fundraiser at Day Block Brewery, runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Suggested contribution: $150. Hosts are asked to give or raise $500. For Young Republicans it’s $25.
