Gov. Mark Dayton has reappointed Bradford Delapena as chief judge of the Minnesota Tax Court.
Delapena was first appointed by Dayton to the Tax Court in 2012 and was named chief judge later that year.
His new six-year term runs until January 2021.
Before joining the Tax Court, Delapena had his own law practice in appellate law and tax matters. He’d previously been an assistant state Attorney General working as the Tax Litigation Division Manager. He’s also been an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law.
Dayton said in a statement: “Judge Delapena has shown exemplary leadership during his time as Chief Judge.”
