Those wishing to catch Gov. Mark Dayton’s “State of the State” speech Thursday night won’t have to brave the construction maze at the state Capitol or climb the steps to the House gallery.

The 7 p.m. speech will be broadcast and streamed in many forms. For the first time, the speech will be streamed to Apple devices on the Periscope application (but you’ll have to download the free app first.)

And these outlets will also carry speech:

  • House Public Information Services: live-streaming at this link. After the speech, video of Dayton’s remarks will be posted online here.
  • PBS Stations: broadcast live on PBS television stations statewide on the Minnesota Channel.
  • MPR Stations: broadcast live on affiliated radio stations statewide. and re-broadcast at noon on Friday, May 10.
  • The Uptake.com: live streaming here.
  • WCCO TV: live-streaming on their website at this link.
  • WCCO Radio – broadcast live on WCCO Radio AM830.
  •  StarTribune.com – live-streaming video on its website.

The governor’s office said the hashtag #MNSOTS will be used on Facebook and Twitter.
