U.S. Rep. Tim Walz, who will seek a sixth term in Congress next year, has hired former state Rep. Terry Morrow to run his campaign.
Morrow, from St. Peter, served six years in the Legislature, from 2007-13. He then worked two years as legislative director for the Uniform Law Commission in Chicago. He also taught communications studies at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter for 18 years.
He’ll start with the campaign on June 1.
Earlier this month, Republican Jim Hagedorn announced that he’ll challenge Walz again next year in the 1st District. In 2014, Walz beat Hagedorn with 54 percent of the vote.
