Kelly Olmstead, a prosecutor in the Ramsey County Attorney’s office, is the new president of the Ramsey County Bar Association.
She’s head of the county attorney’s auto theft prosecution team.
Olmstead is also an adjunct professor at William Mitchell School of Law, teaching representation in a new hybrid degree program. She mentors students at William Mitchell and the St. Thomas law school.
She’s previously worked at Robins Kaplan in the IP Litigation department.
She’s been active in the National LGBT bar Association, serving as secretary in 2009-2010.
President-elect of the bar association is Brian McMahon of Major, Lindsey & Africa.
