A going-away fete for departing Saint Paul Riverfront Corp. head Patrick Seeb will be Monday at the Wigington Pavilion on Harriet Island.

After 20 years as head of the St. Paul nonprofit economic development organization, Seeb is leaving to be Director of Economic Development and Placemaking for the Destination Medical Center project in Rochester.

The free event is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the pavilion on Harriet Island, across the river from downtown St. Paul. There will be a 5 p.m. program, and hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

They’d like RSVPs at the registration site.

Seeb, with medical, development and political experience, is joining the DMC team as it works on a long-term, $6 billion plan to maintain Rochester’s status as a global medical destination.
