Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will speak Tuesday in St. Paul at a fundraiser for the Minnesota Jobs Coalition.

Walker, who’s polling well in the early phase of the Republican presidential race (though behind Donal Trump), will help raise money for the conservative, nonprofit Jobs Coalition. He’s not soliciting, or accepting, money for his own campaign, the group said.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at O’Gara’s, 164 Snelling Av. N., St. Paul. Walker is expected to speak from 7-8 p.m.

It’s open to the public; suggested donation, payable at the door, is $50, or $25 for young professionals.

John Rouleau of the Jobs Coalition said Walker will talk about reforms he’s instituted in Wisconsin.
