St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman will lead a delegation to Nagasaki, Japan, and Changsha, China, on week-long visit to two sister-cities.

The group leaves Oct. 5 and returns Oct. 12.

Nagasaki has been a St. Paul sister-city for 60 years. The Changsha relationship dates back to 1988.

In Nagasaki, the St. Paul delegation will attend a large autumn festival and attend a Nagasaki City Council meeting.

The Changsha includes a tour of the  Shaping Hunan Embroidery Square and Museum, a visit to Yanghu Wetland Park and meetings with city officials.1

The trip is being paid for by Visit Saint Paul, the Ecolab Foundation, the John and Ruth Huss Foundation and others, officials said.
