Minnesota’s legislative leaders have scheduled their Easter and Passover breaks for the 2016 legislative session, which opens Mar. 8.

The Easter closing will run from Mar. 25 through noon on Mar. 29, with the Passover break running from April 22 until April 25 at 8 a.m., according to the House and Senate leadership.

The regular session must be finished by May 23.

And still no word on the special session that Gov. Dayton would like to schedule before March, to handle such matters as federal Real ID, help for Iron Range workers and efforts to ease racial disparity.
