The Minnesota DFL will host three Democratic presidential candidates — Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley and Sen. Bernie Sanders — at the 5th annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner on Feb. 12.
That’s about two weeks before Minnesota’s caucuses, which have been moved this year from February to March 1 as part of “Super Tuesday,” when eight other states have primaries and caucuses.
The event will be at the St. Paul’s RiverCentre, with a 4:30 p.m. reception and 6 p.m. dinner.
Officials say it’s expected to be the largest fundraising event in party history.
State Party Chairman Ken Martin said in a statement:
I am excited to welcome all 3 of our candidates back to the great state of Minnesota. I can think of no better way to celebrate our party and its rich history than with the next President of the United States. These candidates are staunch supporters of our values and each is uniquely qualified to lead our country.
Prices for the event start at $50, stadium seating for the program and no dinner. There are dessert tickets for $75 and general dinner and program tickets are $125.
