Bernie Sanders to campaign Tuesday in Duluth and St. Paul

Sanders will attend a Duluth rally at 3 p.m. and a St. Paul rally at 7 p.m.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders will be in Minnesota Tuesday for two campaign appearances.

His first stop here is in Duluth at 3 p.m. for a rally at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center Arena. Doors open at 2 p.m. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served.

At 7 p.m. he’ll be at the St. Paul RiverCentre for a rally. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Again, officials say the event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served.

HIs staff says he’ll discuss a variety of topics at the rallies, including “getting big money out of politics, combating climate change and making college affordable.”

Sanders will also be in Minnesota Feb. 12 for the DFL’s Humphrey-Mondale Dinner. The other Democratic presidential contenders, Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley, will also be at that event.
