Construction of the Hennepin County board room on the 24th floor of the downtown Government Center means Tuesday’s 1:30 p.m. county board meeting will be held at the downtown Central Library.
The meeting won’t be televised because of the change of venue, but an audio recording will be available.
Also, the Jan. 12 county board committee meetings will be moved to the St. Louis Park City Hall. That 1:30 p.m. session will be televised on Metro Cable Channel 6.
County officials expect the board room construction to be finished so that the regular meeting on Jan. 19 can return to the Government Center.
