Former state Rep. Joe Radinovich to run Nolan’s 2016 re-election campaign

Radinovich, who served one term in the Legislature, is now an assistant commissioner of the IRRRB.

Former state Rep. Joe Radinovich will start this month as campaign manager for U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan’s re-election bid.

Radinovich, of Ironton, served one term in the Legislature before losing his seat in 2014. He was then appointed by Gov. Mark Dayton to a post as assistant commissioner for the Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation Board.

The Nolan campaign this week officially announced the Radinovich hire, after the Brainerd Dispatch reported on the plan in November.

Reporter Zach Kayser also reported at that time that Nolan says he won’t politicize the sale of the Mills Fleet Farm company by the family of his Republican opponent, Stewart Mills.
