An easy, inexpensive way to advertise

Today introduces Flyerboard, a new way to advertise inexpensively on our site. It’s so easy that you don’t even need to have a Web site.

As a reader, you’ll find Flyerboard ads on the left-hand side of the homepage and in that same location throughout the site. If you click on a flyer a page will open with additional information about the event on the right.  If you click VIEW ALL, you’ll get thumbnails for all the flyers running on the site.  From your Flyerboard poster, you can link to your Web site for more information, but you do not need to have a Web site to advertise on Flyerboard — all the information can be self-contained on our Web site.

You can advertise your event or anything else you’d like to share with our readers, for an introductory rate of $80 a week.  This introductory rate is good through December 31, 2008. Just click on “Post Flyer,” fill out the simple form to post your flyer, and pay online through your PayPal account or your credit card. If you need help, we can offer assistance.

If you want  more visibility and flexibility for your ad campaign than Flyerboard offers, contact us about running banner ads, which offer you more impressions and options.  For more information about banner campaigns and sponsorships, contact Sally Waterman at swaterman [at] minnpost [dot] com, 612.455.6953 or Cathy Leedom at cleedom [at] minnpost [dot] com or 612.310.4124.
