Newsweek, CNN point to Holder for AG

Eric Holder, who served as a deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration, has been chosen to be the next attorney general, Newsweek and CNN report. Both say he is still being vetted before an announcement is made.

“Holder has accepted the position but must still undergo a vetting process by the Obama transition team,” CNN reports. “If confirmed, Holder will become the first African-American to hold the position.”
