Volcker to lead new economic recovery board

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker will head a new economic recovery board that will provide a “fresh perspective” for his administration, President-elect Barack Obama announced today at a news conference in Chicago.

“The eight to 16 people involved will meet roughly once a month,” two transition officials told CNN.
