Blagojevich may allow special election for Obama’s Senate seat

A spokesman for embattled Gov. Rod Blagojevich announced Monday that the governor hasn’t ruled out signing a bill creating a special election to fill President-elect Barack Obama’s Senate seat. While the Illinois legislature meets Monday to discuss the impeachment of the governor, Blagojevich returned to work to sign a tax credit bill.
