Congressional Hispanic Caucus calls for more Hispanics in Obama’s cabinet

Foon Rhee of the Boston Globe’s Local Intelligence blog notes while New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is expected to be named the next commerce secretary, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus has delivered a letter to Obama’s transition office recommending a slate of 14 Hispanics for the remaining eight Cabinet slots. “If it’s just one, [Obama]’s going to have to answer to a lot of the issues that come before us,” states Rep.
