Obama review: No inappropriate staff contacts with Blagojevich

An internal review has found that President-elect Barack Obama’s advisers had no “inappropriate discussions” with Illinios Gov. Rod Blagojevich or his staff, the New York Times reports, but Obama has agreed to hold up release of the review until next week.

The Times quotes Dan Pfeiffer, an Obama spokesman, as saying, “The U.S. Attorneys office requested the public release of the transition review be deferred until the week of December 22 in order not to impede their investigation of the governor. The transition has agreed to this revised time table for release.”
