Congressional Inaugural Committee envisions inaugural endurance test for attendees

The Congressional Inaugural Committee issued an inaugural advisory last week for those planning on attending the Jan. 20 ceremonies. The committee encourages arrival at least two to three hours before the ceremony. If you’re staying within 2 miles of the Capitol, it is suggested you walk to the festivities. The committee warns that attendees will most likely be standing for over six hours and busses and subways will be at “crush capacity.” Read the rest of the report here.
