Not many Minnesotans on Inaugural donor list

Paul Demko at the Minnesota Independent has a piece today tracking Minnesota donors for the President Obama Inaugural festivities and doesn’t find too many.

More than 1,200 individuals have made contributions of $200 or more, he notes, but just four are Minnesota residents, according to a list of donors maintained by the committee. The total raised is $27 million, with a goal of at least $40 million.

Minnesotans on the list:
• PepsiAmericas CEO Robert Pohlad, $50,000.
• Pohlad’s wife, Rebecca, $37,500.
• Alida Messinger, longtime Democratic backer and Rockefeller heir, $37,500.
• Jeffrey Balanga, CEO of Minnetonka-based Carlson Marketing, $25,000.

The entire list is here.
