President-elect Barack Obama, in an interview on “This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” indicated that his legal team would not likely institute a broad inquiry into Bush administration practices, the New York Times reports.

“But Mr. Obama also said prosecutions would proceed if the Justice Department found evidence that laws had been broken,” the report said.
