WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a surprising turn of events, President Obama won praise today from his most vocal critic in the Minnesota delegation — Republican 6th District Rep. Michele Bachmann.
“President Obama’s rhetorical spanking of the American auto industry yesterday hit the right chord,” Bachman wrote in her blog.
Bachmann also applauded the president for threatening bankruptcy as a possible course of action instead of a bailout.
“While it’s the right statement to make, however, it’s one that should have been made months ago,” Bachmann said.
