Today we introduce a new advertising feature:

Our new Jobs section,, is not like others. It lists Minnesota jobs taken directly from the websites of the employers. These are unadvertised, current, high-quality listings. They are gathered and sorted by our partner in this effort, a local enterprise known as LinkUp.

Each day, in a widget in the left-hand column of’s pages, we will highlight one interesting job. You can link to that job, or to the entire Minnesota database, which today has more than 5,200 jobs listed.

Careful readers of MinnPost might notice that we’ve actually been running these listings for a few weeks, accessible through the navigation bar at the top of the page. That was a soft launch, to test the system. Today, we begin publishing the widget.

Please check out the listings and let us know what you think, by emailing Karl Pearson-Cater, MinnPost’s director of operations. If you apply for a job you find in the listings, please share with Karl how the process went.
