Here’s the official word from the House Republican Caucus on the former minority leader and candidate for governor:
Representative Marty Seifert, R-Marshall, was admitted to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center Tuesday after experiencing intense pain and shortness of breath over the last few days. Test showed he had fluid build up in his left lung, possibly related to pneumonia. Speaking with Rep. Seiftert this morning, he said he expects to be released in the next day or two.
Seifert’s former running mate Rhonda Sivarajah posted on twitter “Thoughts and prayers are with u for a speedy recovery. Hope u r back home and feeling better soon!”
