Cyndy Brucato had a three-decade career as a journalist and political strategist, most notably as an anchor for KSTP-TV in Minneapolis and WBBM-TV in Chicago. More recently, she contributed to MinnPost as a columnist. In politics, Cyndy served as deputy chief of staff in the administration of Minnesota Gov. Arne Carlson. After lifetime of experience and memories created and curated in
Minnesota, Cyndy left the Northland a year ago to join some Minnesota friends in Naples, Florida. But she keeps close tabs of Minnesota news and politics, and at every opportunity, she reminds people that the state is the home of the Original Salted Nut Roll (among other achievements).
Cyndy earned a B.S. degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
