As frequent business flyers can attest, an airport’s offerings can greatly enhance—or detract from—the overall travel experience.
Fortunately for Twin Cities residents, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport appears to provide a positive experience for most.
To compile the list, Travel Leaders Group asked travel agent owners, managers, and agents from across the country, “Which airport(s) would you and your clients say offers the best services for business travelers?”
Nearly 700 responded, and each respondent was permitted to select up to three airports.
MSP received 18.3 percent of the votes. The airport’s offerings include Wi-Fi, a fitness walking path, FedEx and postal services, a quiet seating area for reading and resting, meeter/greeter services, lockers, luggage delivery, massage chairs, and shoeshine service.
Topping the list was Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which garnered 42.2 percent of the votes. Its services include “minute suites” for napping or watching TV, a currency exchange, and an express spa.
Chicago O’Hare International Airport ranked second with 29.8 percent of the votes, and the Dallas/Forth Worth International airport came in third, with 20.5 percent. To see the full list via MarketWatch, click here.
