Dropbox showcases apps

Dropbox — a service that allows users to store, sync and share files and folders wirelessly — has been lauded as the perfect cross-platform cloud storage solution.

Now, it’s even better.

Today, Dropbox launched an app directory, which Brian X. Chen at Wired says should really come in handy for smartphone users.

The listing of Dropbox-powered apps includes everything from Tap Forms to ReaddleDocs to AirDropper to Documents To Go.

Dropbox is available on BlackBerry, iOS, Android and Windows Mobile platforms.
