America’s largest corporations have nearly doubled their Twitter use in the past year, reports eMarketer.

According to a yearly report from the Center for Marketing Research at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, 60 percent of Fortune 500 companies currently have active Twitter accounts, compared with 35 percent in 2009.

Companies’ Twitter use even surpasses their Facebook activity.
