At the “Facebook Mobile” event last week, Mark Zuckerberg was asked about developing an app for iPad.
“The iPad’s not mobile. Next question,” Zuckerberg curtly replied, later defending his assertion by saying, “It’s not mobile! It’s a computer!”
Gaget Lab’s Tim Camody examines Zuckerberg’s definitions and asks whether there is actually any consensus as to what constitutes a mobile device — or even whether the word “mobile” necessarily refers to a hardware device and not a platform.
