Jeremiah Program — a nonprofit that provides transitional housing and support services to single mothers and their children in Minneapolis and St. Paul — has an opening for a full-time Development Assistant position.
With a broad-based coalition of partners, Jeremiah program helps single mothers and children to break the cycle of poverty by providing a campus community where they can prosper — in all senses of the word. Our holistic programming actively supports women in completing post-secondary education by providing safe affordable housing, life-skills education, empowerment training and early childhood education.
The Development Assistant is responsible for maintaining the donor data base, processing all gifts and gift acknowledgments and for providing administrative support to the Development department.
Job requirements: One to two years experience in development or a position with transferable skills. Post-secondary education, strong computer skills, excellent writing skills and experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for donor relations and external responsibilities.
